October 16, 1943: a date etched in memory, one of the most dramatic events in the history of the city of Rome, of Italy and of the entire world. This date, in which more than a thousand Jews living in Rome were rounded up by German units, is remembered with an exhibition that bears this very date: “October 16, 1943. The raid”.
