This book presents the proceedings of the symposium which was held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the University of Arkansas Rome Program. Established in Rome in 1989 thanks to the vision of Professor Davide Vitali, who was also the Rome Center’s first director, the program initially began with students from the Fay Jones School of Architecture and was subsequently opened to other schools, colleges and universities. The volume contains contributions from the deans and faculty members of the four disciplines represented at the Center: Architecture and Design, Art History, Human Studies, and Business. Following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to an interruption in the publication schedule, the Rome Center is proud to present this multidisciplinary collection of essays which provides new perspectives on education in an increasingly globalized world.
