Boston in the 1990’s

The shapes and structural patterns of the Boston metropolitan area throw a geat deal of light on new areas of territorial transformation. The prevalent trends of the area are an indication of what we can expect from the recent evolution in planning practice, especially in more economically advanced countries.
This study emphasizes the role played by regional planning, and environmental policies, as well as major land development projects on socio-economic and ecological changes in Boston Area.
