L’arte contemporanea è un territorio aperto che non si lascia facilmente trattenere entro confini definiti. “Capsule Art Collection 5. Approfondimenti contemporanei” nasce con l’intento di offrire una panoramica accurata sulla produzione artistica internazionale, dove i sei artisti presenti offrono traiettorie distinte ma interconnesse, conservando ognuno la propria originalità, sensibilità e urgenza. Sei espressioni non riconducibili ad un’unica estetica ma accomunate dalla necessità di far emergere un linguaggio autentico e soprattutto non replicabile. In questo senso il volume si presenta come un prodotto di nicchia dove ogni artista rappresenta la colonna portante. Nell’unicità dei sei artisti rimane, comunque, un importante punto di contatto: la scelta di vivere l’arte come territorio di interrogazione, come spazio dove cercare risposte. Contemporary art is an open territory which is not easy to confine. “Capsule Art Collection 5. Contemporary insights” was born with the intent to offer an in-depth overview of international artistic production, where the six artists presented offer different yet interconnected trajectories, each retaining their own originality, sensitivity and urgency. Six expressions which can’t be traced back to just one aesthetic, but having in common the necessity to bring out an authentic language which can’t be replicated. Hence, the volume is presented as a niche product, where each artist represents a main pillar. In the uniqueness of the six artists, a point of contact is nevertheless present: the choice to live art as a territory of inquiry, as a space to look for answers.

MONICA FERRARINI Laureata nel 2002 all’Università di Pisa in Lettere moderne, consegue un master in Comunicazione d’Impresa e Relazioni Pubbliche presso l’Istituto Europeo di Comunicazione I.E.D. di Roma e successivamente un master in Formazione e Orientamento a Milano. È stata socia fondatrice e vicepresidente dell’Associazione culturale e galleria d’arte Artime arte contemporanea con cui ha ideato e organizzato numerosi eventi, in sedi sia pubbliche che private. Dal 2012 lavora come curatrice e critica d’arte indipendente ideando e organizzando eventi in numerose location istituzionali e private e scrivendo testi critici per cataloghi a corredo di mostre di arte contemporanea. Ha già pubblicato per la Gangemi Editore nel 2020, 2021, 2022,2023 e 2024 la prima, seconda, terza, quarta e quinta edizione del catalogo di arte contemporanea “Artisti di Oggi e di Domani/Artists of Today and Tomorrow” e nel 2022, 2023, 2024 e 2025 la prima, la seconda, la terza e la quarta edizione del catalogo di arte contemporanea “Capsule Art Collection. Approfondimenti contemporanei”.

MONICA FERRARINI Having graduated in 2002 at the University of Pisa in Modern Literature, she obtained a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication and PR at the European Institute of Communication I.E.D. in Rome, followed by an Education and Master’s degree in Milan. She’s been a founding partner and vice-president of the cultural association and contemporary art gallery Artime, for which she created and organised several events, both in public and private locations. Since 2012, she’s been working as an independent art critic and curator, creating and organizing events in various institutional and private locations, and writing critical texts for contemporary art catalogues. She has already published with Gangemi Editore in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 the first, second, third, fourth and fifth edition of the contemporary art catalogue “Artisti di Oggi e di Domani/Artists of Today and Tomorrow” and in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 the first, the second, the third and the fourth edition of the contemporary art catalogue “Capsule Art Collection. Contemporary insights”.
