Il mondo delle favole non esprime solo la mera visione di un immaginario racconto in cui ricorrono miti, incantesimi, figure magiche, ma va interpretato come la chiave di lettura di una conoscenza che si rapporta alla verità delle cose. Una verità che si coglie con l’amore per la vita. L’amore come essenza profonda del nostro essere che non deve essere offuscato dal bieco egoismo individualistico dell’uomo, ma profondersi nel divenire della nostra esistenza a conoscere il senso della vita.

… The world of fairytales does not portray just the vision of a f ctional story filled with myths, spells, and magical fIgures. Instead it should be interpreted as the key to unlocking knowledge about the truth of things. A truth that can be understood through love for life. Love as the profound essence of our existence; it should not be eclipsed by man’s blind individualistic egoism, but gradually deepen throughout our existence as we search for the meaning of life.

FLORA GENCO, nasce a Pola, una splendida città dell’Istria, sempre presente nel suo cuore. Nel corso della sua vita si è spesso posta l’interrogativo di come si sarebbe svolta la sua esistenza se avesse potuto vivere nella sua terra, con la sua gente, seguendo le loro tradizioni. Forse da qui ha cominciato a fantasticare a raccontarsi e a raccontare favole.

FLORA GENCO was born in Pula, a beautiful city in Istria, a city she has always cherished in her heart. Throughout the years she often wondered what her life would have been like if she had been able to live in her native land, with her fellow Istrians, and follow their traditions. Perhaps this is what inspired her to invent stories for herself and others.
