Mario Marchi Architecture

This book presents some outcomes, of a broader research still on going, about the vision and the opera of a Master of the Roman School of Architectural Drawing, Mario Marchi (1900-1996). It offers an overview of his extensive work by combining, in the form of an Atlas, authorial Drawings and original Photographs of some famous masterpieces.

Antonella Salucci (Rome 1965) graduated with honors in Architecture from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’. She obtained her PhD in ‘Surveying and Representation of Built Heritage’ from the University of Ancona. She is an Associate Professor of Architectural Drawing at the Department of Architecture DdA of the ‘Gabriele d’Annunzio’ University of Chieti-Pescara. At the same University, she teaches ‘Architectural Surveying’ in the Architecture Degree program and ‘Drawing for Design’ in the Design Degree program. She is involved in study and research activities in the field of Architectural Drawing, Architectural Surveying and Photography, the latter understood both as a theoretical discipline and as an operating practice.
